Art gone missing, bring on Walmart

Another sunny morning, but as the severe weather warning was in place for another day in the hills, we decided to not to drive in the mountains and do a tour of Fresno which was bright sunshine. There was an apparently great walking tour of the historic building and the street art.

Driving through downtown Fresno, ………. it was empty and not busy in the slightest. Not busy to the extent that I could tell the Albatross to stop at an intersection whilst I looked at the map and there was no one behind us. We tried to find a car park or a parking spot. Our first effort didn’t work as the scanny thing at the entrance didn’t want to acknowledge our credit card. All the other car parks were listed as private parking only and when I went and looked at the metered parking, I needed an app. I don’t have the app. So, we did a slow drive around town to do the walking and mural tour via driving. We didn’t see much and the murals were less than good (I didn’t take any photos). Time to head home, but via a super/mega Walmart. It is an experience you need to do at least once or 5 times. A well purchase pair of pants for the Albatross and a comfy pair of slippers for me we headed home to do some extended planning for future travels.
